detail-oriented Employee Benefit Coordinator with Expert Excel
Skills to support employee benefits administration through advanced
data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation on a 1099 contract
basis. This role is highly Excel-focused and requires strong
analytical capabilities to manage large data sets, identify
discrepancies, and optimize reporting processes. While knowledge of
employee benefits and benefit administration systems is helpful,
the primary emphasis of this role is leveraging advanced Excel
skills to ensure data accuracy, streamline workflows, and support
compliance reporting. Develop and maintain advanced Excel workbooks
(formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, data models) to support
reporting and analysis Extract large datasets and reconfigure,
cleanse, and format data to meet system specifications Analyze,
reconcile, and audit data to identify discrepancies, trends, and
process improvements Create dashboards, templates, automated
reports, and tracking tools to support business operations and
compliance needs Ensure data accuracy and integrity while
documenting processes and supporting benefits reporting requests
Other duties as assigned Requirements: Required Work Experience,
Skills & Education Must have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in
employee benefits and understand all types of plans and the
relationship between the broker and human resources Must have
worked with an online benefit administration in a previous position
for at least two (2) years- preferably with Employee Navigator,
Bswift, or Plansource Must be analytical & detail oriented Must
have excellent customer service skill and flexibility Must be able
to handle multiple projects at one time at a fast pace with minimal
errors Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas,
pivot tables, Power Query, lookups, conditional logic, and data
modeling Experience working with large or complex datasets and
performing data reconciliation Experience integrating Excel with
other systems or tools preferred
