THEATRE OFFICE ADMINISTRATORPOSITION SUMMARYCandidate is responsible for providing outstanding, efficient, and courteous service for a nonprofit arts organization.This is a key position in terms of being the first touch-point for patrons, members, vendors, and community associates doing business with Stagecrafters.JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Process all elements of ticket transactions: sales, subscriptions, and exchanges using AudienceView TicketingSoftware.
    • Handle cash, check, and credit card transactions with efficiency and accuracy
    • Sensitivity to security and privacy of patron billing and credit card information
    • Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail in a sometimes fast-paced work environment daily and on performance nights.
    • Assist with patron account maintenance
    • Provide courteous, professional and efficient service to members, patrons, and vendors
    • Must learn AudienceView ticketing software through in-office training and in-office independent study
    • Proactively stay informed of ticketing software updates and best practices through webinars/support materials.
    • Must be stay informed about all Stagecrafters marketing campaigns and materials, including but not limited to email blasts, coupon offers, print materials, season brochure, website information, and social media sites.
    • Assist Marketing Manager with special events, community outreach, and associated activities as needed.
    • Become familiar with Stagecrafters' mission and vision statements, history, and board structure and governance.
    • Complete other duties as assigned in support of Administrative Manager to ensure quality constituent servicePlease note that employees of the theatre are not involved in the artistic side of the business and cannot become members of the organization. This position is strictly limited to the business and administrative function of the organization, and is not part of the artistic function, which is overseen by the membership.QUALIFICATIONS
      • Must be dependable and possess a superior work ethic with a strong motivation to succeed.
      • Must have very good computer skills and be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google docs.
      • Have a solid knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
      • Must be self-directed and be able to work independently as well as part of a team
      • Business experience preferred
      • Knowledge of AudienceView or other ticketing software a plus, but not required
      • Knowledge of C70 printer a plus, but not required
