development. RLE International USA is currently looking for a
mechanical technician to work on the build of a series of prototype
vehicles at our workshop facility in Romulus, MI. Position
Description: An overall appreciation for the whole vehicle
including any past history of chassis component assembly and
installation, and general vehicle assembly would be advantageous.
The key areas which the mechanical technician would be working on
would include the removal and installation of vehicle components.
Qualifications: Vehicle disassembly and assembly (powertrain,
exterior, interior) Manage parts inventory and accurately execute
Build Sheets Communication with team and customer Provide own tools
and work with minimum instruction Troubleshoot vehicle wiring Tear
down and rebuild of complete vehicle assemblies Steering and
Suspension installation Brake line re-build and installation Vacuum
and refill A/C systems Drain, fill and bleed coolant systems
Physical Requirements: Continuous standing, walking, bending.
Repetitive lifting up to 35lbs. Occasional lifting to 75lbs.
