Overview:Outpatient MAT Opioid Treatment Program (OTP)Join our
team at Ann Arbor Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) as a
Physician Assistant, where youll play an essential role in
delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to those on their
journey to recovery. In this role, youll provide medical services,
conduct physical assessments, and support patients with education
and follow-up care under the guidance of a supervising physician.

with state and federal regulations while fostering an environment

Treatment Program (OTP)Role as Physician Assistant:The Physician
Assistant is an integral member of the medical team, responsible
for providing high-quality medical services to patients while
adhering to state licensing guidelines. This role encompasses
comprehensive medical management across all levels of care offered
by the clinic and involves working under the supervision of a
physician to deliver patient-centered care. This position requires
a commitment to clinical excellence, adherence to legal and
professional standards, and collaboration with the medical team to
optimize patient outcomes.Responsibilities:Role
Responsibilities:Makes a comprehensive physical assessment of
patients by conducting thorough physical examinations, diagnosing
conditions, and formulating treatment plans that is consistent with
training and education;Performs physical examinations on patients
admitted for medication maintenance;Ensures physician medication
orders are being followed. Refers patients to appropriate
physicians and consults with the supervising physician;Evaluates
patient care, adjusting the plan of care based on outcomes,
diagnostic test results, and patient feedback;Provides patient and
staff education on medication maintenance;May prescribe medications
in accordance with state regulations and licensure
requirements;Coordinates patient referrals and ensures appropriate
follow-up care to support treatment continuity;Ensures compliance
with state and federal regulations, CARF Standards, and clinic
policy and procedure;Maintains and expands knowledge base in
accordance with the requirements necessary to maintain professional
certification as a Physician Assistant; and,Perform other duties as
assigned.Qualifications:Education & Experience
Requirements:Graduate of Physician Assistant program from an
accredited college or universityPrevious experience in an opioid
use disorder (OUD) / substance use disorder (SUD) treatment /
medication-assisted treatment (MAT) environment is highly
preferredNo history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three
years before employmentLicenses/Designations/Certifications:Board
certified Physician Assisant.Licensed Physician Assistant able to
practice in state where the clinic operates.DEA license.Our
