Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. An opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support within a K-12 school environment in Dearborn, MI. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' educational and developmental growth through targeted therapeutic intervention. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment strategies Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to promote success in academic and daily living skills Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress Adhere to school policies and regulatory requirements in the delivery of therapy services Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with valid credentials to practice in Michigan Demonstrated experience working specifically in a school setting, preferably with K-12 student populations Ability to provide onsite therapy services with a focus on high school-aged students Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams Experience with IEP processes and individualized treatment planning Location and Schedule: Position is onsite within a high school located in Dearborn, MI Contract runs through the current school year (CSY) Part-time schedule at approximately 15 hours per week Assignment requires immediate availability with service continuing through June 12, 2026 Benefits: Opportunity to work directly with students to enhance their academic and functional skills Gain valuable experience within a public school district Supportive professional environment focused on student success Qualified professionals with specific school-based occupational therapy experience are encouraged to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
