Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Lansing, MI Agency: Compunnel Healthcare Pay: $2,200 to $2,300 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse – MS/Tele (Float) Facility: Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, MI Unit: MS/Tele, Stepdown, Adult Acute Care Units Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/11/2025; Earliest End: Jan 3, 2026) Positions Available: 2 Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Patient Ratios: 1:4–6 Job Overview: Sparrow Hospital seeks RNs to float across adult acute care units including MS/Tele and Stepdown. Nurses will care for patients with a variety of medical, surgical, neurological, orthopedic, and oncology conditions, including post-op care, cardiac procedures, stroke/TIA, trauma, and complex med-surg needs. Weekend Requirement: 3 out of 4 weekends per month Holiday Requirement: Available for 2 of 3 major holidays, including the day before and after Responsibilities: Float to all adult acute care units (MS and Stepdown) Provide care for patients with telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmias, and vasoactive drips Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and manage lines including PICC and central lines Care for patients with complex medical/surgical, oncology, orthopedic, neurological, and bariatric needs Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation Requirements: Experience: 2 years preferred; first-time travelers considered Travel Experience: Required Certifications: State RN license active by start date (pending accepted) BLS & ACLS required Skills: Telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation & management, EPIC charting, IV therapy, phlebotomy Must be comfortable floating to multiple units Modules: 5 hours, non-billable Hospital Highlights: Type: Short Term Acute Care Magnet / Teaching / Level 1 Trauma Total Staffed Beds: 632 Parking: Free with badge
