Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Nurse
Supervisor to join our team. This role is pivotal in maintaining
the highest level of patient care and operational efficiency in our
network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. The Nurse Supervisor
will oversee the nursing staff, ensure compliance with all policies
and regulations, and lead efforts to provide exceptional patient
care. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic,
patient-focused environment, where you will play a key role in
guiding and developing nursing staff while also ensuring that
patient care meets our high standards. Supervise and coordinate
nursing staff to ensure efficient operation and delivery of
high-quality patient care. Develop and implement nurse training
programs to aid in professional development and ensure staff
proficiency. Manage patient care plans in collaboration with other
medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient treatment.
Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and internal
policies. Evaluate nursing practices, patient outcomes, and staff
performance. Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and
performance evaluation of nursing personnel. Facilitate
communications between different departments to maximize patient
care effectiveness. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in
healthcare management systems and electronic health records.
Skilled in conflict resolution and patient advocacy. Ability to
train and motivate staff. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Current registered nurse (RN) license. BLS/CPR
certification. Preferably certified in Nursing Administration (CNML
or NE-BC).
