Corewell Health WBUH seeks a highly skilled and compassionate interventional gastroenterologist to join an established gastroenterology team at the Royal Oak campus, approximately 30 minutes outside of Detroit. This large academic medical center with more than a thousand inpatient beds serves as a tertiary referral center for the region. This position will be integral in expanding advanced gastroenterology services at Corewell Health WBUH , joining established hepatology/liver transplant and advanced/interventional gastroenterology services. We are also recruiting general, IBD, and motility gastroenterologists. The ideal candidate must have completed an additional year of Advanced Endoscopy fellowship training prior to joining, Candidates with specialized interest/expertise in bariatric endoscopy and/or 3rd space endoscopy are also encouraged to apply. Responsibilities will include evaluation and management of patients with pancreaticobiliary disorders, and conditions that may require performing both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures , involvement in clinical trials,, inpatient consults and rounds on the hospital interventional gastroenterology and general gastroenterology consultation services, teaching of gastroenterology fellows, residents, and medical students, involvement in tumor board, and direct engagement with referring providers, among other responsibilities.
