Job DescriptionSUMMARYThe Kitchen Manager is directly
responsible for all kitchen functions including food purchasing,
preparation, profit maximization and maintenance of quality
standards, while supervising all cooks and kitchen staff to ensure
guests receive an outstanding dining experience.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIESKitchen Manager
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for the overall direction,
coordination, and evaluation of employees. Carries out supervisory
responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and
applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and
training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work;
appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees;
addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must

Education and/or ExperienceRelated degree or 1-2 years related
experience in restaurant management.2 to 3 years related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.Performance Measurements1. Kitchen Manager functions are
efficiently, accurately, and effectively performed in accordance
with established policies and standards. 2. Proper scheduling of
kitchen staff and effective labor percentages adhered to. 3. Good
relations exist with guests. Guest problems or questions are
courteously and promptly resolved. 4. Good working relationships
and coordination exist with staff and upper management. 5. Thorough
implementation of kitchen safety and sanitary guidelines. Physical
