Title: Food Service Worker Department Org: Food And Nutritional Svcs - 109760 Employee Classification: B1 - Classif'd Full Time AFSCME HSC Bargaining Unit: AFSCME HSC Primary Location: HSC H Shift: 1 Start Time: 700am End Time: 330pm Posted Salary: Starting at $16.81 Float: False Rotate: True On Call: False Travel: False Weekend/Holiday: True Job Description: Prepare and mixes ingredients for cold dishes and beverages. Make toast, prepares short order foods on grill and fried foods. Assembles food for patients and serves employees, visitors, and students. Minimum Qualifications: Education/experience/licensing: • High school diploma or GED equivalent or food prep experience. • Food preparation vocational training preferred • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers. Communication and other skills: • Ability to read and write simple sentences and be able to carry out verbal instructions. • Requires full range of body motion; requires prolong standing; frequent bending, stooping, stretching and manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, pushing carts on carpeting, and riding on elevators.
