Job Description Job Description We are looking for an
experienced AVP of Technology to join our team in Midland, Texas.
This leadership role is ideal for a proactive and hands-on
individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys
driving impactful projects. The successful candidate will oversee
technical operations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and
ensure the seamless integration of technology solutions to support
organizational goals. Responsibilities: • Lead and manage
day-to-day IT operations, ensuring systems and networks run
efficiently and securely. • Oversee project planning and execution,
delivering technology solutions that align with organizational
objectives. • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
to implement and optimize IT systems and processes. • Provide
technical leadership in areas such as network security, system
administration, and hardware/software management. • Develop and
enforce security policies, manage patch updates, and address
vulnerabilities to safeguard organizational data. • Administer
tools and platforms such as Microsoft 365, Fortinet firewalls,
Meraki, and other security technologies. • Manage scripting tasks
using languages like PowerShell or Python to automate processes and
improve efficiency. • Monitor and maintain antivirus control
software, ensuring systems are protected against threats. •
Prioritize and escalate technical issues, providing timely
resolutions to meet user expectations. • Ensure compliance with
industry standards and best practices across all IT operations.•
Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a
leadership role. • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology,
Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. •
Strong expertise in IT security, network administration, and system
maintenance. • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools and platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Meraki, firewalls, and SD-WAN
technologies. • Familiarity with scripting languages such as
PowerShell and Python. • Excellent leadership, communication, and
interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and
priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
