Pay: $16/hour Shift: Monday - Friday Dispatch between 5am - 7am ,
working 10-12 hours Position Purpose: The Driver Helper rides with
and assists Drivers in the tractor trailer, tandem trailer and/or
straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes for the purpose
of delivering and/or unloading various products in a safe and
timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation
(DOT) regulations. Communicates and interacts with customers,
vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are
answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team
member within the department and organization, as required, and
perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Assists the
Driver in the safe and accurate delivery of products to customers
in a timely and efficient manner. Loads and unloading truck and/or
company vehicles. Places products in areas identified by customers.
Completes required documentation in a timely manner. Performs other
related duties as assigned. CM-ALL Qualifications: • High School
Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and/or 1-3 years of
related experience • Intermediate computer knowledge and ability to
learn/use computer programs on the job. • Physical ability to
regularly lift, carry, and position: up to 30 lbs. regularly, up to
65 lbs. • Physical ability to occasionally bend, kneel, crouch,
climb, reach, or crawl. • Ability to work in an environment which
will expose the incumbent to a variety of noise and potential
