Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Technician for several boutique Orangetheory Fitness studios in the metro Detroit area. All applicants must have experience in maintaining commercial properties. This position is expected to be full-time (30-40 hours per week). RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine cause of problem or malfunction and take corrective action. Perform minor repairs and/or oversee repairs and maintenance work performed by contracted vendors. Participate in facilities remodeling or new construction and other renovation activities. Perform various maintenance tasks, including equipment repairs, as needed. Perform preventive maintenance tasks and repairs when required. Respond to AFTER HOURS emergency calls from the facilities. Assist with studio deep cleans. Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent MINIMUM 3+ years hands-on maintenance experience in a commercial setting, fitness studio is a plus Excellent troubleshooting ability Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) Must have a valid drivers license Must have a work vehicle and own tools Willing to commute to all 8 studio locations MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE U.S. WE ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE SPONSORSHIP AT THIS TIME Job Type: Full-timePay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hourBenefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Flexible spending account Health insurance Paid time off Parental leave Vision insuranceSchedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Weekend availabilityExperience: Maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred)Work Location: One location
