Job DescriptionSUMMARY The Sales Manager is responsible for
driving consistent, profitable growth in event sales revenues
through positive planning, execution, and management by using sales
strategies to meet short and long-term sales goals while providing
clients with exemplary service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
- Establish and maintain effective and timely communication with
established clients to ensure successful event and sales
development and to promote client retention through exemplary
- Plan details with clients and operations team to execute events
from start to finish to ensure service expectations are met.
- Connect with established clients to continually market and
communicate service and event offerings to enhance, maintain
relationships, and utilize networking.
- Maintain all client relationships and contact information in
the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure full
utilization of data mining and implementation of new sales
- Utilize effective networking techniques to generate qualified
leads and relationships through community relations and business
- Weekly review of overbook to ensure meeting monthly and
quarterly sales goals.
- Ensures timely communication to clients while meeting all needs
(do not say no).
- Meet with clients to discuss their evolving needs for their
event, build a relationship and work toward repeat business.

to five years of event management and Sales experience. Performance
Measurements1. Sales goals are met and exceeded monthly, quarterly,
and yearly.2. Build and promote strong, long-lasting client
relationships with external networks and potential clients by
partnering with them and understanding their needs.3.
Self-motivated, goal oriented, strong attention to detail, and
ability to work within a fast-paced environment.4. Good business
relations exist with clients, vendors, trade professionals, etc.
Computer SkillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office. Familiarity with
other software including, including databases, Caterease, and CRM
systems, a plus.
