hours Contract Duration: 5 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the
Position Pay Rate: $32.00 - $36.00/Hourly. Summary: A
Histotechnologist is responsible for preparing and processing
tissue samples for microscopic examination by pathologists. The
technologist performs specialized laboratory procedures to
preserve, section, and stain tissue specimens to help diagnose
diseases and medical conditions. Responsibilities: ?Prepare and
process tissue specimens for microscopic analysis. Embed tissue
samples in paraffin and cut thin sections using a microtome.
Perform routine and specialized staining procedures on tissue
slides. Label, organize, and maintain accurate records of
laboratory samples. Operate and maintain histology laboratory
equipment. Ensure quality control and follow laboratory safety and
infection control standards. Requirements Requirements: 5 - Year
experience Required, BLS Certification, HTL (ASCP) License
